Mary Bozyk, B.A., B.Sc., Grad. Dip. Psych.(Adv), M. Psych. (Ed. & Dev.)

Mary is a registered psychologist with training in Educational and Developmental psychology. She is passionate about working collaboratively with her clients to optimize their mental health, learning and development. Mary has worked in private practice, university assessment clinics and community health settings. She has experience counselling children and adolescents with a wide range of emotional, social and developmental difficulties. She also has experience with assessment of intellectual, learning and behavioural difficulties.

Connecting with her clients empathically and non-judgmentally is central to Mary’s practice. Mary has experience using Cognitive Behaviour therapy, creative modalities which include schema and play therapies and uses an eclectic therapeutic approach that is tailored specifically to each client.

Mary works especially in the following areas:

  • Child/adolescent counselling – anxiety, emotion regulation, behavioural difficulties, social skills and friendships, school adjustment
  • Assessments with children, adolescents and adults – IQ, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, learning difficulties
